Something like 16% of children are obese. How many children smoke pipes? There is a vast difference between pipe tobacco and RYO cigarette tobacco labeled "pipe tobacco." When will Congress start thinking through their legislation before they pass it? I guess worst case scenario is that they do. Stop taxing us to death.

why not place more tax on alcohol. you can drink in public places, get drunk and kill people. a desigated area is great, but how about the attorneys who actually sponsor public advents where beer is served? Is this a ploy for business and if you leave someone's house and/or function are they not responsible for the consequences thereafter. Don't understand that one. People are going to smoke. Smoking a pipe is often a hobby, and a relaxing one at that. Addiction to nicotine plays a much lower role in the habit. This is just another "sin tax" imposed by the majority on a minority whose voice will not be heard.
